How to make cake tapai 

 A Cake tapai is one that is widely made and sold because of its various variants and because its taste is much liked by tape connoisseurs. Cake tapai usually has a fragrant aroma, a soft texture, and a slightly sour or fresh taste due to the combination of tape.


Here are the ingredients needed to make the steamed tapai sponge cake recipe: 

100ams of liquid margarine

• 125 grams of cassava tape

• 3 chicken eggs

• 6 tb sp granulated sugar

• 1/2 tsp sp

• 1/4 Vanilla

• 8 tbsp flour

• 1 sachet of cow's milk powder

• Baking powder

Tool :

steps: 

1. Mix eggs and sugar in a bowl. Beat using a mixer at low speed; once mixed, increase the speed and beat just enough to get white but not to soft peaks.

2. Mash or crush the tape and mix it with sweetened condensed milk. Enter the tape into the egg mixture and stir until evenly distributed.

3. Sift the flour, then mix it with the powdered milk, baking powder, sp, and vanila

4. After that, pour little by little into the wet mixture until well blended.

5. Add melted margarine to it and stir well.

6. Prepare a baking sheet, brush with a little margarine.

7. Pour the batter into the pan.

8. Heat the steamer until it boils.

9: If the steamer has boiled, add the mixture and steam for about 25 to 30 minutes.

10. When it's cooked, remove the tape-steamed sponge and let it cool. Remove from tin and serve.
